**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to address pressing global development challenges;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for innovation;
- Leveraging emerging technologies to drive social impact and improve the lives of children and families;
- Fostering partnerships with governments, NGOs, and private sector organizations to advance UNICEF's mission;
- Leading and managing a team of innovation experts to develop and implement new programs and initiatives;
- Managing budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds and maximize impact;
- Representing UNICEF at international conferences and events to showcase our innovation work and build relationships with key stakeholders.
**Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field such as innovation, business, or international development;
- At least 8 years of experience in innovation strategy, program management, or a related field;
- Demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and IoT;
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams;
- Strong communication and partnership-building skills, with experience working with governments, NGOs, and private sector organizations;
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is highly desirable.
**What We Offer**
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
