Raw Materials Planner

The Role:

This position involves overseeing the entire procurement process for raw materials and packaging materials. You will need to develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for raw materials and packaging materials.\
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify new suppliers and improve existing relationships.\
• Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely receipt of raw materials and packaging materials.\
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting.\
• Participate in supplier evaluations and performance assessments.\
• Implement process improvements to optimize procurement operations.\
• Assist in training and developing procurement skills of internal stakeholders.\
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.\
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.\

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, or related field.\
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field.\
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.\
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.\
• Experience with procurement software and systems.\
• Knowledge of contract law and negotiation techniques.\
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.\
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.\
• Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or related field (e.g., CPSM, CSM, etc.).\
