Regulatory Advisor

SunExpress is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Advisor to join our team. As a Regulatory Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring changes in tax regulations and adapting our processes accordingly.
2. Conducting thorough analyses of tax procedures to ensure compliance with tax laws.
3. Developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies.
4. Liaising with third-party services to manage tax-related processes.
5. Coordinating the execution of tax auditing, declaration, reconciliation, and litigation processes.
6. Identifying tax-related issues and taking proactive steps to improve processes and establish effective control systems.
7. Applying and following up on tax incentives and exemptions.
8. Overseeing foreign invoices and contracts to ensure tax regulation compliance.
9. Managing fx rate difference invoices.
10. Preparing accurate and timely tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
11. Preparing VAT Refund lists and related documentation.
12. Submitting withholding tax, VAT, stamp tax, corporate tax, special consumption tax.
13. Reconciling tax-related accounts with tax declarations.
14. Handling e-ledger and e-invoice cancellation/objection processes.
15. Booking tax accruals.
16. FOLLOWING inflation accounting practice according to Tax Law.
17. Supporting Transfer Pricing Report and CbCR procedures.
18. Preparing tax and statutory reports (TCMB, TUIK, etc.).
19. Complying with legal regulations related to tax management.
20. Communicating with tax authorities and responding to legal notices.
21. Reviewing all tax-related accounts and non-deductible expenses.
22. Providing tax consultancy on various projects and business models.
