Duties and Responsibilities

• To prepare all necessary equipment for irrigation system repairs. These include sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves and other plumbing equipment.

• To coordinate with Landscape Manager the sourcing of materials required for repair and maintenance of irrigation systems.

• To complete daily walk around in order to identify problem areas and carry out immediate or planned repairs.

• To work closely with gardening team to help in the identification of faults in the irrigation systems and their effects on the landscape.

• To carry out regular testing of pipes, sprinkler heads and irrigation controllers.

• To work closely with Engineering team to plan and schedule works as necessary.

• To identify different watering schedules according to the needs of the landscape.

• To carry out repairs as soon as faults are identified to prevent major damage occurring to the vegetation and soil.

• To make safe use of equipment including but not limited to buggies, mowers, shovels, tractors, trenchers.

• To maintain record keeping of all repairs carried out and the conditions of irrigation systems in the resort.

• To carry out any other reasonable request as directed by your manager.
