Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Vice President of Software Engineering/Chief Technology Officer (VP/CTO) role located in Istanbul, TR. The VP/CTO will oversee the overall technology strategy, lead software development teams, and play a pivotal role in designing and developing enterprise software systems. They will work closely with product management and architecture teams to conceptualize and implement innovative solutions, guide IT strategy, ensure the scalability of platforms, and support business growth. Collaboration with hardware engineering teams to align product development with the company's core technologies will also be a key responsibility.

The company is looking for multiple full-stack lead dev-op software engineering candidates for hands-on VP of Software Engineering and CTO positions to be leading our universal exchange technology. The both technical positions are for a system integrator/architect software engineering type of work, targeting our custom high-speed distributed transaction network design. These lead positions require strong knowledge of distributed secure transaction systems, front-end, back-end, server security, storage, network protocols, high speed transactions, with minimum of 15 years of software engineering industry experience or PhD plus 10 years of industry experience. The candidates are expected to understand and integrate various system pieces from multiple SW and HW teams, and architect a distributed transaction processing and storage system for multi-function end-user applications. Familiarity with blockchain, banking, cryptography, mobile, web, and linux applications are all plus. The position is an urgent one and hence the applicants are expected to have active work authorization to be employed in Türkiye upon appointment.

  • Experience in Software Development and Architecture to design, build, and optimize scalable enterprise systems
  • Proficiency in IT Strategy and Product Management to align technical initiatives with business goals
  • Strong background in the design and implementation of Enterprise Software solutions to drive operational and product efficiencies
  • Proven leadership and management skills to guide multidisciplinary teams and foster innovation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in distributed secure cloud server network architectures and protocols
