Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer to oversee our construction operations in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring project delivery, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Strategy:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Align operational goals with the company's overall vision and objectives.

2. Project Management:

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.

3. Operational Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

4. Safety and Quality:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

5. Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.

6. Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring minimal impact on projects and the business.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role in the oil and gas construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, project management, and business development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • ⁠Having executed two projects as project director

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering,
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are desirable.
