Our client, a leading company in its sector, is looking for an Accounting Manager who will report to the CFO.

Role Profile

  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing overall accounting strategy; monitoring and analyzing accounting data
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time
  • Ensuring the company's accounting processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide the required information.
  • Managing the accounting services function of the company including general accounting, payables/receivables, and payroll
  • Controlling the conformity of the accrual, provision, and valuation operations with the company procedures and the related legislation
  • Following the changes in the Tax Legislation and UFRS Legislation and informing all related units
  • Coordinating the processes related to the audit realized by the Independent Audit firm
  • Coordinating the reports prepared periodically for the Upper Management and the Board of Directors, realizing all kinds of additional analysis and research studies
  • Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Having a reporting background and/or audit firm experience
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive analytical and organizational skills with superior numeric skills
  • Good knowledge of tax legislation
  • Experience in team management and digitalization
