Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and manage funding applications for
    EU Framework Programs
    (e.g.,
    Horizon Europe, LIFE, COSME
    ), KOSGEB and
    TÜBİTAK
    grants
  • Lead
    proposal development
    , including technical narratives, work packages, budgets, and impact sections
  • Coordinate
    consortium building
    , stakeholder communication, and partner relations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress; manage
    technical and financial reporting
    , deliverables, audits, and contract amendments
  • Plan and execute
    engineering projects
    involving automation systems, robotics integration, irrigation technologies, and field deployments
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; perform
    risk management, quality assurance, and performance tracking
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams; interface with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Ensure full
    compliance with standards and grant requirements
    through site execution, system validation, and acceptance testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Business
    , or a related field
  • YDS score of 70 or higher, or an equivalent internationally recognised English language qualification.
  • Minimum
    2 years of combined experience
    in EU and/or TÜBİTAK project management and technical project delivery
  • Strong knowledge of
    EU and Turkish research funding mechanisms
    , grant writing, budgeting, and consortium coordination
  • Demonstrated experience in
    engineering project implementation
    , including planning, QA/QC, client engagement, and field operations
  • Proficiency in
    project management methodologies and tools
    (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and MS Office
  • Excellent
    written and spoken English
    ; additional languages are an asset
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills with the ability to balance
    strategic management and hands-on technical execution
  • Experience with
    robotics systems, automation, or sensor integration
    is a strong advantage
