Indoor Planning Engineer / IBS Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design mobile network solutions for indoor environments including buildings, sports complexes, and stadiums.
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze signal distribution.
  • Perform simulations and analyses in areas such as radio frequency, antenna placement, and cell planning.
  • Determine and optimize capacity requirements for indoor networks.
  • Develop appropriate network solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Prepare project reports and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with telecommunications teams to track and support project workflows.
  • Utilize necessary software and tools for testing and optimizing indoor networks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with indoor radio planning tools (iBwave, Atoll, EDX, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of radio frequency theory, signal propagation, and network optimization.
  • Understanding of telecommunications systems (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
  • Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in indoor communication infrastructure and network design (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with iBwave and other indoor planning software.
  • Knowledge of LTE/5G technologies and their applications.
  • Experience working on large-scale indoor projects.
  • Proficiency with TEMS Suite, Actix, MapInfo, and Atoll tools.
