Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Istanbul for a Travel & Trade Executive at Sofitel Istanbul Taksim. The Travel & Trade Executive will be responsible for managing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients to promote the hotel and coordinate bookings. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, attending industry events, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the hotel's luxurious brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in travel and trade relations, with knowledge of the local market.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with partners in travel and corporate sectors.
  • Proficiency in Sales & Marketing strategies with excellent organizational and account management abilities.
  • Multilingual capability is an asset, especially fluency in English and Turkish, while additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and OPERA.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused, and multicultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a professional demeanor and problem-solving attitude.
