Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Agile delivery skills and the ability to leverage AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, to accelerate requirements discovery, story writing, and stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate excels at breaking complex requirements into features, epics, and user stories, works closely with development teams to clarify needs, and partners with business stakeholders to prioritize effort. Experience with Immigration processes is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Agile BA supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery execution.
• Use AI tools and GitHub Copilot to draft, refine, and improve user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow descriptions, and documentation.
• Leverage Copilot and AI-driven layout generation tools to quickly produce wireframes, workflows, and conceptual models to align stakeholders early in the process.
• Translate high-level business needs into well-structured features, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business leaders to define scope, priorities, release plans, and sequencing.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and dependencies.
• Manage and groom the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Support developers and QA teams with clarifications, edge cases, workflow details, and business rules.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs, demos, and presentations using data-backed and AI-enhanced visual artifacts.
• Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and propose continuous process improvements.
• Preferred: Apply domain knowledge in Immigration, Mobility, Visa/Work Authorization, or related service processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum) and backlog management.
• Proven ability to decompose requirements into features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Ability to drive prioritization discussions with business and technology leaders.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, or similar.
