KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of external audit experience, with a strong focus on the insurance sector.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, FSI and financial services regulatory reporting.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple engagements and leading teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the insurance sector in compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Manage and develop client relationships at senior and board level, providing trusted business insights and recommendations.
  • Review and evaluate clients' internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise audit staff, providing performance feedback and supporting career development.
  • Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, financial regulations, and industry trends.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to clients, highlighting key findings and improvement opportunities.
