Job Description

Scorpios is looking for a responsible Assistant Door Manager for overseeing door operations and crowd management while maintaining the core responsibilities of the Head Host role. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience on-site, ensuring smooth check-in operations efficient team coordination, and seamless door management, all while upholding the Scorpios ethos.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage door operations, ensuring a well-organized and controlled entry process.

• Oversee crowd management, proactively handling guest flow and minimizing bottlenecks.

• Coordinate with security and the hosting team to ensure efficient check-ins and guest screenings.

• Maintain an active presence at the entrance to uphold high hospitality standards.

• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and VIP arrivals with professionalism.

• Oversee the hosting team's roster, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal placement of team members in different areas.

• Ensure all registration procedures are consistently followed and executed with precision.(Data Collection)

• Implement and instill a culture of cross-selling, ensuring the team actively promotes relevant offerings.

Door Management & Guest Selection

• Take full responsibility for door management, ensuring the filtering of guests aligns with the Scorpios ethos.

• Train the team on how to handle sensitive situations, using refined communication skills to navigate difficult conversations with guests.

• Ensure the door team operates with discretion, professionalism, and strategic thinking to maintain the venue's exclusivity.

• Maintain constant communication via radio channels, ensuring the right guests are welcomed appropriately.

Collaboration with Departments

• Coordinate closely with F&B, Hotel, and Ritual teams to ensure smooth guest transitions.

• Assist with F&B and Ritual check-ins, ensuring every guest is properly welcomed and guided.

• Support the F&B teams during peak hours, ensuring guests receive timely service

Sales & Cross-Selling Initiatives

• Identify and proactively promote sales opportunities for Ritual treatments, hotel bungalows, and other experiences.

• Ensure all hosts adopt a sales-focused mindset, driving incremental revenue through personalized recommendations.

• Train the team on effective sales techniques, ensuring they confidently introduce and upsell relevant experiences.
Guest Feedback & Continuous Improvement

• Collect real-time guest feedback, ensuring immediate resolution of concerns and continuous service improvements.

• Provide management with insights and recommendations based on guest interactions.

Cultural & Local Expertise

• Offer guests insider knowledge of local attractions, cultural events, and exclusive 
experiences.

• Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring guests feel connected to the Scorpios lifestyle.
