Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement enterprise-grade data solutions using
    SQL Server
    and
    Azure SQL Database
    .
  • Design and optimize data models, storage, and performance for transactional and analytical workloads.
  • Lead the development of interactive dashboards and reports using
    Power BI
    , enabling self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering and BI teams.
  • Stay current with Microsoft's data platform advancements and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using
    SQL Server
    and
    Azure SQL
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Power BI
    , including DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Deep understanding of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies and hybrid data architectures.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Azure Monitor is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Microsoft certifications such as
    DP-300 (Azure Database Administrator)
    or
    PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst)
    are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale data modernization or analytics transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
  • MCP or other Microsoft certifications.
