We are looking for a
Risk Management Supervisor
for Yapı Kredi Yatırım.

Job Description:

Position will be responsible for all risk management activities across the company and will also provide assistance in the Compliance area. The responsibilities will include:

· Detecting and determining transactions and processes that generate market, counterparty and operational risks driven by client and proprietary activities,

· Analyzing the risks and being part of the discussions with the business teams to determine strategies with the purpose of mitigating risks,

· Calculating all market and counterparty risks driven by client as well as proprietary activities on a daily basis using risk calculation and monitoring methodologies such as Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Stress Testing, Limit Setting,

· Comparing actual and potential proprietary positions with the risk limits and monitoring the resulting profit and loss trends on a daily basis,

· Reporting risk related issues to related committees, reporting residual risks to senior management and supporting the business units in determining their strategies,

· Closely cooperating with IT teams in improving existing risk systems & processes and proactively developing new ones,

· Monitoring regulatory and business related developments in capital markets,

· Communicating with risk related teams across the Group.

Required Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management,

· Experience in capital markets and financial sector,

· Bachelor or Master's University degree from a reputable university in Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics,

· Having a Capital Markets Boards Level 3 and Derivative Instruments License is a must,

· Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skills in Turkish and English,

· Good knowledge of products, risk calculation methodologies and, capital markets regulations,

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and VBA required), risk management software is a plus,

· Willingness to learn and take responsibility in compliance to capital markets regulations and personal data protection regulations is important

· Competence in analytical thinking and problem solving with a result oriented mindset

· Excellent presentation skills coupled with strong judgement and ability to effectively communicate with senior management,

· Strong communication skills and being harmonious at teamwork.
