We are looking for a
"Compliance Officer
" with 10-15 years of professional background in compliance or legal advisory, to be assigned to our
''Legal''
department located in İstanbul HQ.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's compliance program, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and interpret international sanctions regimes, trade embargoes and ensure organizational adherence.
  • Oversee export control compliance, including classification, licensing, and screening processes under respective regulations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on U.S. regulatory obligations and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws including GDPR, KVKK (Türkiye), and other applicable frameworks.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training across departments.
  • Maintain, update, and oversee compliance policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms to ensure effective governance and regulatory adherence.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

  • Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience in compliance or legal advisory.

Deep expertise in;

  • International sanctions and trade embargoeS
  • Anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) programs
  • U.S. regulatory frameworks (FCPA, SEC, OFAC, etc.)
  • Implementation of corporate compliance programs
  • Personal data protection laws

  • (Preferred) Antitrust and competition law.

  • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing corporate compliance programs, including policy development, training, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Preferably has worked in the legal departments of multinational corporations, or in law firms providing compliance advisory.
  • Excellent command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced legal drafting and writing capabilities.
  • Solution-oriented, highly organized, and effective in teamwork and time management.
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills, ensuring timely execution of compliance initiatives and legal deliverables.
