Technical Manager.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in maintenance, repair, infrastructure management, and technical operations within restaurants, hotels, or food production facilities
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, generators, cooling systems, fire safety, occupational health and safety, sanitary installations, ventilation, and energy management
  • Familiarity with Energy Management and Efficiency practices, as well as Preventive and Corrective Maintenance planning, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of local codes and compliance standards
  • Proven experience in vendor and contract management
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team across multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors, including non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure, particularly during operational emergencies
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and proactive, solution-oriented thinking
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to actively drive a vehicle

What will you work on?

  • Plan and oversee all technical maintenance and repair activities across existing branches to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Assign tasks to the technical team, monitor their performance, and support their professional development
  • Coordinate with external service providers (e.g., technical maintenance, construction, electrical services) and ensure service quality and compliance with company standards
  • Prepare and implement emergency and fault management plans
  • Prepare and manage the technical department's budget, and track maintenance-related expenses
  • Ensure all technical operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the inventory of technical equipment and spare parts, ensuring timely procurement and optimal stock levels
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities related to energy efficiency and sustainability practices
  • Develop and execute emergency response and fault management plans to minimize downtime and operational risks
  • Evaluate and implement technical systems or automation tools to improve maintenance efficiency
  • Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance and service quality indicators for senior management
