ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. has founded at 1957, is a recognized international EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) Company has designed and built many Projects for Oil and Gas Process, Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) Projects, Simple Cycle Power Plants (SCPP) Projects, Coal Fired Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Pipeline&Pump Stations, Well Pad Facilities, and the Tank Farms in all over the world up to date.

ENKA has its own in-house multi-disciplinary engineering team that performs all design services required for the development of above mentioned projects. ENKA Engineering team carries out Conceptual (FEED), Basic and Detailed engineering for the Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Civil & Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

ENKA Engineering organization comprises of 3 main divisions located in Istanbul Head Quarter - Engineering Offices in Turkey;

ENKA Energy Engineering is seeking for new teammates who will become the member of ENKA's design & engineering team located in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking to hire a
Fuel Gas System Design Engineer
to be employed within the Energy Projects Design Center in Our Head Office in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering work experience about major mechanical equipment and systems, fresh graduate candidates from well-known universities who wants to start their career in this area may also be evaluated
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Strong communication skills, team worker
  • Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic
  • Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines
  • No restriction to travel and stay abroad when needed
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in selection of all types of fuel gas filtration, pressure reducing & metering and control valves, heating and pressure vessels.
  • Familiar with major international standards of ASME, ASTM, API, NACE, ISO and EN associated with design, material selection and testing of fuel gas system equipment.
  • Experienced in power, oil and gas projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Carry out mechanical design works for fuel gas filtration, pressure reducing & metering skid and control valves, heating systems in power, oil and gas projects.
  • Prepare material requisitions, technical specifications, and datasheets for all types of fuel gas filtration, pressure reducing & metering skid, control valves and heating systems.
  • Review and approve suppliers' technical proposals. Prepare technical bid evaluation document based on these proposals and project requirements.
  • Review and approve manufacturers' technical documentation (drawings, sizing calculations, datasheets, material and test certificates, etc.)
  • Review of PID's.
  • Exchange the information with the other engineering disciplines and coordinate the inter-disciplinary documents reviews and other related engineering works jointly developed.
  • Be the technical interface with Site Team and Vendor.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
