Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an
experienced
General Accounting Specialist
, based in Istanbul (Ümraniye), Türkiye. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing daily journal entries, and utilizing accounting software to ensure precise financial records. The role also involves analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the company's financial operations through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing financial statements and managing journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Experience working as
    Accounting Receivable
    and
    Accounting Payable
    along with accounting software and strong knowledge of
    general accounting practices
    ,
    taxing
    and
    bookkeeping.
  • Strong finance and analytical skills for effective financial data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Fluency in Turkish. English is preferred.
