About the role: Logistics Software Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Software Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and management of our logistics software products, with a primary focus on market needs and trends. You will also be responsible for promoting our products to potential clients and preparing bid proposals and tender responses.

This position will be

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential areas for product innovation
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with market needs and trends, as well as the company's strategic objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, designers, and quality assurance specialists to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software products
• Create detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the development process, with a focus on meeting market needs and addressing emerging trends
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that product messaging and positioning align with market needs and trends
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our logistics software products
• Prepare bid proposals and tender responses in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other competitive bidding opportunities
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and other partnership initiatives, promoting our logistics software products and building relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders in the logistics industry
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement
• Serve as the product evangelist and advocate for our logistics software products, both internally and externally
• Embrace a growth mindset and be adaptable to change, continuously seeking new opportunities to learn and improve
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software product development, including Agile and DevOps, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Low-code/No-code Development, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies
• Use this knowledge to drive innovation and ensure our products remain competitive in the market

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software product management, with a focus on logistics software products
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management processes and technologies.
• Proven ability to manage the entire software product lifecycle, from concept to launch
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in preparing and delivering product demonstrations, bid proposals, and tender responses, as well as representing a company at industry exhibitions and partnership initiatives
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in software product development, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Low-code/No-code Development, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies
• Ability to identify emerging market needs and trends, and translate these insights into product ideas and features
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
