The impact you'll make

As an Operation Specialist at Paribu Art, you will plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and high-quality operation of our art center. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Event Operations

  • Ensuring venue readiness, audience area preparation, accreditation points, signage, crowd flow, and overall guest experience are executed to the highest standard.
  • Collaborating closely with production, programming, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure all event-day needs are met.
  • Monitoring operational risks, making quick decisions on-site, and resolving issues proactively during events.
  • Conducting post-event operational evaluations and reporting improvement areas.

Venue Operations

  • Overseeing daily building operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and security.
  • Monitoring on-site compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and reporting any issues.
  • Ensuring all audience-facing spaces meet Paribu Art standards before each event.

3rd Party Vendor Coordination

  • Managing daily communication with security and cleaning service providers.
  • Supporting crowd flow and implementing security procedures for audience entry and exit.
  • Observing hygiene practices and ensuring cleaning services meet quality expectations.
  • Coordinating with OHS consultants to ensure planned procedures are carried out correctly.
  • Supporting on-site execution of emergency drills and safety protocols.

Office Support & Administrative Coordination

  • Tracking office needs such as stationery, equipment, and general supplies.
  • Providing administrative support for documentation and contract processes.
  • Supporting the operational aspects required to maintain a safe, organized, and effective workspace.

Key competencies

We believe skills and potential matter as much as experience. To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in venue operations, facility management, event operations, or a related area.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Experience working with external vendors (security, cleaning, technical services).
  • Understanding of OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) principles and basic compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting tools.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
