Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in software development and DevOps, with a strong foundation in cloud-native architectures and CI/CD
• Hands-on development experience is a must. Experience in at least one modern programming language (Java/Spring Boot, Python, C#, Go, etc.), with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Strong knowledge of build tools and package managers (e.g. Maven, Gradle, NPM, MSBuild).
• Deep experience with containerization, deployment strategies, and configuration management tools (e.g. Docker, Cloud Native Buildpacks, Helm, Kustomize)
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms and tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo, Tekton, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps)
• Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments. Familiarity with multi-cluster and multi-cloud scenarios (e.g. Cloud Foundry, VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tooling. Experience with platforms such as OpenShift AI or similar (e.g. Kubeflow, MLflow) is an advantage
• Awareness of agentic AI concepts and readiness to contribute to building AI-integrated platforms aligned with our self-running bank vision
• Experience with infrastructure as code and GitOps methodologies
• Comfort in Linux environments; Windows Server experience is a plus
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a mindset to partner with software developers, platform teams, and AI engineering teams
• Self-motivated, curious, and continuously learning — open to exploring emerging technologies and challenging legacy approaches

Job Description:

• Provide DevOps leadership and guidance across all platforms and applications of the bank and its subsidiaries, supporting cross-functional engineering teams
• Own and evolve the CI/CD and developer platform ecosystem, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient pipelines for diverse tech stacks
• Design and implement reusable DevOps patterns and automation for both software and AI/ML workloads, in alignment with enterprise architecture principles
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based deployment environments across on-prem and public cloud, implementing GitOps and policy-as-code best practices
• Lead efforts to build internal tooling — including Kubernetes operators and controllers, as well as larger-scale developer-facing products such as our Internal Developer Platform (eg. Backstage) and CI/CD workflow engine (eg. Dagger, Tekton) — to streamline platform operations and significantly improve the developer experience across the organization
• Evaluate, adopt, and contribute to open-source DevOps tools as needed, aligned with team objectives
• Collaborate on the integration of agentic AI capabilities into the DevOps toolchain and delivery processes as part of the self-running bank strategy
• Continuously drive operational excellence in observability, resilience, compliance, and release engineering
• Mentor and support DevOps engineers in technical and architectural topics, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
