Project Assistant Manager, Electrical

Powership Asset Technical Management and Global Commissioning

".

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Graduates from Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Electronics Engineering departments of universities.

• Experience in the design and/or control of all electrical/electronic works, commissioning, calibration, and testing processes of system projects for MV and HV systems, alternators, transformers, etc., Especially in shipbuilding companies and/or power plants in the energy sector (Diesel Engines, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, etc.).

• Experience in the design, commissioning, and operation of control systems such as SCADA, PLC, etc.

• At least 5 years of experience in the design, control, and commissioning of all electrical and control processes mentioned in the above two items in power plants.

• At least fluent in English.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, preferably knowledge of one or more of AutoCAD, PLC, and SCADA.

• No restrictions on domestic or international travel.

• Preferably residing or planning to reside in Yalova, the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Gebze, or Kocaeli.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

• To ensure that the Powership manufacturing process complies with international standards and contract criteria, perform all necessary actual inspections, tests, measurements, etc., and report these to the manager.

• To review manufacturing electrical projects to determine revision needs and inform the manager.

• To verify the project compliance of equipment technical drawings received from the project team and ensure their dissemination.

• To be present at the factory acceptance test of purchased materials and equipment when necessary.

• To play an active role in resolving electrical problems that arise during manufacturing, ensuring necessary repairs and modifications are carried out.

• To facilitate requests for the supply of required materials by conducting surveys from the technical drawings prepared for manufacturing, and to forward these requests to the relevant units.

• To ensure that the manufacturing process is carried out in accordance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems procedures and to take the necessary precautions.

• To actively participate in domestic and international commissioning processes.
