Product Design Team Leader

To this date, more than 2 million consumers shopped online under the security provided by iyzico Buyer Protection and this number is increasing daily. Via pay with iyzico, which is a blended payment solution, millions of consumers who do not use banking can safely shop online under the belt of iyzico Buyer Protection. iyzico continues to simplify online shopping for both consumers and sellers by the simple, accessible, and innovative technologies it developed.
We are looking for an experienced Product Design Team Leader to guide our product design team and elevate design quality across iyzico's products. This role requires a mix of hands-on design expertise, team leadership, and strategic thinking to shape user experiences in payments, wallets, and fintech solutions for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the design team by setting clear goals, tracking progress, and providing regular feedback to ensure high-quality outputs. Drive the creation and governance of the design system, establishing guidelines and ensuring consistent application, scalability, and efficiency. Champion a design-first culture by constructively challenging existing approaches and advocating for design excellence across the organization. Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery and research to prototyping, user testing, and final execution, iterating based on user and data insights. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to ensure design outcomes are aligned with product vision and business objectives. Stay ahead of industry trends by adopting new tools, leveraging benchmarks, and driving continuous innovation within the team. Foster a collaborative, creative, and learning-focused environment across the design team.
Required Qualifications At least 7 years of product design experience, including leadership in PSP, wallet, or fintech products. A strong portfolio that highlights user-centered design, strategic thinking, and measurable impact. Deep knowledge of UX/UI principles and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Practical experience in building and scaling design systems, with attention to accessibility and inclusivity. Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow designers, supported by clear communication and presentation skills. Background in agile development with hands-on experience in user research and usability testing.
