CAMO Manager / Aircraft Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a CAMO Manager / Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team operating at Istanbul New Airport.

The CAMO Manager / Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the continuous airworthiness of the company's fleet in full compliance with EASA and DGCA (SHGM) regulations. This role oversees airworthiness management activities, coordinates maintenance operations, and represents the organization before aviation authorities and approved maintenance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure, monitor, and maintain the continuous airworthiness of all aircraft within the fleet
• Establish, implement, and oversee aviation safety and operational safety management processes
• Ensure full compliance with applicable
  EASA
  and
  DGCA (SHGM)
  airworthiness requirements, directives, and regulations
• Develop, submit for approval, implement, and continuously update
  Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP)
• Coordinate and control maintenance activities in accordance with
  Part-M, Part-CAMO, and SHT-CAM
  requirements
• Manage, control, and ensure the integrity and traceability of all airworthiness records required by DGCA (SHGM)
• Act as the primary technical liaison with approved maintenance organizations (Part-145), suppliers, and aviation authorities
• Manage airworthiness directives (AD), service bulletins (SB), modifications, and repairs in coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Prepare for, support, and represent the company during internal and external audits, inspections, and technical reviews
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to CAMO personnel and relevant technical teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (licensed or non-licensed)
• Holder of a
  DGCA (SHGM) approved Form-4 CAMO Manager
  authorization
• Minimum
  5 years of proven experience
  in CAMO or equivalent airworthiness management positions
• Comprehensive knowledge of
  Part-M, Part-145, Part-CAMO, and SHT-CAM
  regulatory frameworks
• Demonstrated experience in
  Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP), airworthiness directive (AD) compliance, modification control, and configuration management
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with aviation authorities, maintenance organizations, and technical stakeholders
• Proven leadership, organizational, and decision-making capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
• Proficient in
  written and spoken English

Preferred Competencies

• Experience in managing audits conducted by EASA and/or DGCA (SHGM)
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with high regulatory accountability
