We are currently recruiting on behalf of a global apparel sourcing office with a diverse product portfolio and a strong international client base.

To support their continued growth and high technical standards, we are seeking an experienced Technical & Quality Director who will oversee multi-product operations and ensure full compliance with global customer requirements.

Role Summary

The Technical & Quality Director will be responsible for managing and improving technical and quality assurance operations across multiple product categories. The role requires close collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and global clients to uphold the highest production and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all technical and quality assurance processes across multiple apparel categories: knitwear, woven, denim, outerwear
  • Supervise the entire product lifecycle from development to bulk production, ensuring alignment with customer specifications
  • Manage and guide quality control teams (inline, final, and third-party inspections)
  • Evaluate and enhance suppliers' technical capabilities and quality performance
  • Translate global clients' technical requirements and quality standards into local production processes
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions in case of non-conformities
  • Provide leadership in product safety, sustainability, testing protocols, and compliance standards
  • Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of internal quality systems
  • Lead, train, and develop the internal technical and quality team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical and quality management within the apparel industry
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in knitwear, woven, denim, and outerwear categories
  • Prior experience working with global fashion brands and retailers
  • Proven ability to manage teams and lead cross-functional quality initiatives
  • Excellent knowledge of international quality and compliance standards
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
