BOAT SPOTTER
Job Summary: The boat spotter is responsible for ensuring guest and crew safety by performing navigational watches and is responsible for properly maintaining boats and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with cleaning boat and water sports equipment. Assisting with docking and casting off by throwing and receiving lines. Securing boat when stationary (anchoring, mooring, and tying to dock). Performing navigational watches for rocks, reefs, danger spots, and buoys along route. Informing Captain, Supervisor, and Manager of equipment needed for the smooth running of the operation. Ensuring that boat is fueled daily. Following up on the repairs and maintenance of dive boat and other vessels. Handling all guest concerns efficiently, tactfully, and courteously.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. First Aid and CPR certifications. Valid Lifeguard License. At least six (6) months' experience in similar position.
