Role Overview
We are seeking a Construction Claims Engineer. In this role, you will analyze project data, conduct delay and cost evaluations, and help prepare claims documentation.
Technical office, planning, cost and or contracts experience is an advantage.
This is a full time
- remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Document Analysis: Review contracts, claims documentation, site records, and daily correspondence to identify key issue events. Delay & Disruption Analysis: Evaluate baseline and updated construction schedules to assess project delays, extension of time (EOT) requests, and disruption damages. Schedule Review: Update, review, and comment on construction programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project. Claims Preparation: Assist in drafting detailed claim and delay analysis reports, counterclaims, and formal contractual notices. Cost & Progress Review: Analyze progress data, productivity, and associated cost impacts related to claim events. Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in construction planning, delay analysis, or technical office roles. Software
Skills:
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; strong Excel and Word capabilities. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction programming, delay analysis methodologies, and delay/claims processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with FIDIC Forms of Contracts or international contract management. Prior exposure to claims consultancy. Membership in an appropriate professional body or professional registration.
