Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a full-time, on-site role based in Istanbul. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers to support InsideLook’s platform operations and community initiatives. Daily tasks include organizing volunteer schedules, delivering training sessions, monitoring volunteer performance, and ensuring adherence to platform standards and guidelines. The Coordinator will collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer activities with organizational goals, provide ongoing support and feedback to volunteers, and help create a safe, inclusive environment for users and contributors. The role also involves assisting with community outreach efforts to raise awareness of InsideLook and engage new volunteers. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Training and Volunteer Management skills to effectively onboard, guide, and support volunteer teams.
• Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, provide clear instructions, and maintain positive relationships with volunteers and staff.
• Candidates should possess experience in Community Outreach and stakeholder engagement to promote InsideLook’s mission and attract new volunteers.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate schedules, manage multiple volunteer activities, and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in basic digital tools and platforms; prior experience in online platforms, marketplaces, or user-generated content environments is beneficial.
• Candidates should possess a commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and non-discriminatory practices; experience working with diverse communities is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess a relevant educational background in social sciences, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
