Performing Arts Programming Specialist

Zorlu PSM is looking for an experienced Performing Arts Programming Specialist to join its Programming Department and contribute to the development, evaluation and execution of performing arts projects across local and international productions. This role focuses on supporting programming activities, project development, production planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination and the successful delivery of performing arts projects within a multi-disciplinary cultural institution. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the performing arts ecosystem, experience in coordinating stage projects, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional corporate structure.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and contribute to the research, evaluation and programming of local and international performing arts projects in line with Zorlu PSM’s artistic and strategic direction.
• Follow current trends, artists, companies, festivals and productions across the performing arts field, both locally and internationally, and contribute to programming decisions.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of Zorlu PSM’s in-house productions and co-productions, including theatre, musical theatre and interdisciplinary stage projects.
• Manage assigned project processes, including feasibility, budgeting, scheduling, production requirements and operational planning, in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Prepare and manage project-based budgets, monitor budget performance and provide regular financial reporting.
• Work closely with production, technical, operations, marketing, communications, ticketing, finance and legal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with artists, producers, agencies, institutions, festivals and other sector stakeholders.
• Coordinate offer, contract, rights, licensing, touring and production processes together with the relevant internal teams.
• Prepare project presentations, management reports, budget analyses and evaluation documents.
• Coordinate internal team members and external collaborators involved in assigned projects, ensuring clear priorities, timelines and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in performing arts, cultural programming, production, festivals, live events or a related field
• Strong knowledge of local and international performing arts, including contemporary stage productions, touring works and large-scale productions
• Experience in developing, managing or producing stage projects, preferably within a cultural institution, venue, festival or production company
• Advanced experience in budget preparation, feasibility studies, cost tracking and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in team management, task prioritization and cross-functional coordination within a corporate or institutional structure
• Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work within a dynamic event calendar and adapt to flexible

working hours
