Job description
We are looking for a Confection Production Engineer to join our production team and contribute to the efficient, sustainable, and continuous improvement of our production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring daily production processes and ensuring production targets are achieved,
- Analyzing production line capacity, efficiency, and performance,
- Conducting line balancing studies and identifying production bottlenecks,
- Performing analyses based on operation times, cycle times, and standard times,
- Identifying production losses and developing actions to improve productivity,
- Monitoring key production KPIs such as efficiency, output, labor productivity, and quality,
- Supporting the production launch of new products,
- Working on changeover (C/O) time reduction
- Collaborating closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Maintenance and Warehouse teams,
- Supporting Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, VSM, 5S, and continuous improvement activities,
- Conducting root cause analysis for technical and operational problems and implementing sustainable corrective actions,
- Ensuring effective utilization of labor and machine capacity,
- Preparing production performance reports
- Supporting compliance with occupational health and safety requirements. ### Profile Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in garment/textile manufacturing is preferred,
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, operations, and machinery,
- Strong knowledge of line balancing, capacity analysis, and standard time studies,
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Ability to work actively on the production floor,
- Strong communication and teamwork skills,
- Good command of English.
- Good planning and organizational skills,
- Result-oriented, proactive, and strong sense of ownership,
- Experience with ERP/MRP production modules is preferred,
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is an advantage,
