STUDENT SUPPORT TEACHING ASSISTANT

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our skilled Student Support team. The teaching assistant will work full-time under the direction of the Student Support Leader to provide a wide range of learning interventions and in-class assistance to students as required.

 

The successful applicants will:

Possess or be working towards a Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 or above). Additional qualifications in Special Educational needs are advantageous.Have at least one year’s experience of working directly with children and young people within a school environment both individually and in groupsHave excellent planning and organisation skillsBe able to deliver targeted programs of work to students and provide evidence of progressBe able to communicate confidently with staff, parents and studentsBe able to work flexibly as part of a high performing teamBe confident in the use of technology to enhance children’s learningBe committed to regular and ongoing professional developmentHave an excellent command of the English Language (written & spoken)
