Mission

This role focuses on supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.

Key Accountabilities
  • Plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international regulations;
  • Evaluate ship strength using advanced analysis techniques;
  • Develop and perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling and analysis;
  • Conduct structural verification for various ship equipment and appliances, including winches, cranes, and mooring/towing equipment;
  • Following the conventions and contractual requirements based on the agreements for ship classification.
  • Provide support for the resolution of issues related to conflicting design;
  • Understand and apply project management concepts providing feedback to project manager, serve as reference for the escalation of issues;
  • Manage simple projects assigned applying project management concepts and techniques Assess minor structural problems for internal/external clients to determine solutions with minimal supervision.
What are we looking for
  • Naval Architecture or Marine Engineer degree;
  • Previous experience in another classification society would be a significant advantage;
  • Proficiency in the English Language;
  • Very good analytic and problem solving skills, team player;
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Proactive customer focused approach.
