We are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to join our company located in Balıkesir.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering departments of universities,
  • 3 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Having at least B class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist certificate,
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Environmental legislation,
  • 3 years of experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems,
  • Internal audit, Environmental Officer and Train the Trainer certificates,
  • Worked on Explosion Protection, Seveso / Bekra, Machinery Safety and Sustainability,
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs,
  • No travel restrictions.

Job Description

  • To follow the legal obligations related to Occupational Health & Safety and Environment, to inform the company for compliance with the legislation and to be part of the solution,
  • To define, supervise and be involved in the process of ensuring that all operational activities carried out within the company are in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and operating conditions,
  • To take part in the execution of all steps of ISO 45001 OHS Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System studies,
  • To ensure that the process of conducting OHS and Environmental Risk Analyses and defining/planning the necessary actions are carried out,
  • To plan the periodic monitoring & measurement & control activities required to be carried out in terms of occupational health & safety and environment in the workplace and to follow up the activities carried out by those responsible,
  • To take part in planning, training, drills, audits/surveillance, action identification-taking-follow-up processes to ensure readiness for emergency situations such as accidents/incidents, fires, explosions, disasters, etc,
  • Conducting surveillance of the working environment, including contractor work, and carrying out the process related to the findings,
  • Planning/realizing the occupational health & safety and environmental trainings to be given to employees in accordance with the legislation and reporting the results,
  • To take part in Corporate, Customer and Kibar audits,
  • To follow good practices, to make suggestions for the development of processes, to be part of the work to be done for implementation,
  • To make recommendations on stopping/improving the work in case activities that may cause life-threatening and significant environmental accidents are identified.
