WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

1. Documentation and making necessary revisions on ISO 14001 Environmental & ISO 45001 Management System
2. Follow up of legal requirements, summarize and adopt to new legislation
3. To make any kind of legal and regulatory reporting requirements within the organization
4. Establish and maintain environmental stakeholder relationships
5. Apply knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation and both Turkish and International standards/regulations
6. Reporting and interpretation of monthly and annual environmental data
7. Creation & updating of annual and long-term energy saving & energy efficiency plans
8. Keeping up with the global and local trends in energy and sustainability
9. Preparing, reviewing, and updating environmental investigation and recommendation reports
10. Ensure all activities are in line with UMS practices, food safety and workplace safety requirements
11. Evaluation of the SDS reports of the chemicals used in the factory within the scope of environmental & HSE
12. Execution of chemical acceptance & approval system, updating chemical risk assessments
13. Ensure the wastewater treatment plant and waste management are carried out in accordance with the regulations, making the necessary controls
14. Work closely with safety team to improve safety & environmental culture
15. Assist the site leader to develop and lead the internal committees and safety committee
16. Support the site leader in leading incident investigation and analysis
17. Assist the site leader to improve R2S and other UMS programmes
18. Develop and deploy internal SHE audits and inspection systems, participate in audits of other Unilever organizations as required
19. Determine training needs and assist in delivery of training programs
20. Support Health and Safety function

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

1. University degree in Environmental Engineering or relevant Engineering degree
2. Minimum 3 years of related work experience (preferably in FMGC industry)
3. Having at least B class WWTP Responsible Certificate
4. WCM / TPM / UMS Manufacturing knowledge (preferably)
5. ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 (preferably) management system knowledge
6. Strong analytical thinking
7. Good command of English
8. Living or willing to live in Tekirdağ province
9. Military service completed for male candidates
