We are looking for a CVM Platform Solutions Software Developer / Pega Developer.

Why is this role really critical to us?

Pega Decisioning Architect is responsible for defining decision architecture, solutions & designs for Pega Marketing. Solid end to end experience defining solutions, designs, and implementations in Customer Marketing, Contact Strategy, Segmentation, Adaptive Modelling, Campaign Management - Inbound and Outbound. It is Pega Decisioning Architect's responsibility to analyse, design and develop business strategies in Pega platform.

How will you spend your time at Vodafone?

  1. Iteratively document and improve architectural approaches, service design, and development processes and approaches.
  2. Refine and/or redesign application architecture to be more cost-effective, including the optimal selection of implementation technologies, practices, and skills for application delivery success.
  3. Define the current application architecture, and identify issues within it, including tracking technical debt.
  4. Create and maintain application architecture deliverables and artifacts.
  5. Develop Pega Strategies to leverage channels and capabilities that exist to actualize customer journeys.
  6. Develop Pega DataFlows for processing both batch and realtime events.
  7. Develop Pega ESM rules for realtime stream processing.
  8. Actively participate in the requirements, design, and build phases of an application through collaboration with the business contacts and Pega consultant team.
  9. Assist with the planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
  10. Support existing applications and production issues.

You are just the person we've been looking for, if you have:

  1. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field (preferably quantitative focus such as Engineering).
  2. Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) is preferable.
  3. Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) is a plus.
  4. 6+ years of work experience in IT roles.
  5. 3+ years of Pega experience in Pega Decisioning and Pega Marketing skills is mandatory.
  6. Strong knowledge on Pega Adaptive and Predictive models.
  7. Experience integrating 3rd party big data models to Pega Strategies.
  8. Experience on CDH (Customer Decision Hub) is preferable.
  9. Experience on ADM (Adaptive Decision Manager) is preferable.
  10. Experience on NBA (Next Best Action) Designer is a plus.
  11. Experience on Pega Paid Media Manager is a plus.
  12. Hands-on experience at Pega 8.6 or later versions is preferable.
  13. Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns.
  14. Define the application architecture, track and identify issues within it, work towards a solution.
  15. Design/Redesign the application architecture to be more cost-effective considering performance and code quality.
  16. Develop custom Pega activities to integrate/consume external platforms, services.
  17. Demonstrated knowledge of SOA principles with integration experience using different protocols (SOAP, REST, etc.).
  18. Experience implementing Pega integration services using REST, SOAP and other XML-based technologies.
  19. Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, MSSQL or DB2. Should be proficient in SQL commands. Should have knowledge of NoSQL databases.
  20. Strong knowledge on NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB.
  21. Experience implementing Pega data integration services to access RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases.
  22. Experience with the entire SDLC process.
  23. Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  24. B2+ Level Proficiency in English.
