Lawyer

Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) is looking for a full-time Lawyer.

Desired Qualifications:

• Having worked in the legal departments of companies for at least 2 years and/or having provided legal consultancy to companies in law firms,
• Having experience especially in the fields of Contract Law, Labor Law, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law or several in particular,
• Knowing English and preferably being able to document this,
• Having trial experience,
• Having strong communication skills, being solution-oriented and prone to teamwork,
• Being proficient in MS Office applications and being able to make reports,
• For male candidates, preferably having completed military service,
• Preferably residing/being able to reside in Izmir.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examination of the compliance of the works and transactions performed by the units and requested for legal evaluation with the law within the framework of the provisions of the law and relevant legislation
• Preparation, examination, negotiation of all kinds of contracts,
• Tracking and reporting of related cases with the Center,
• Answering questions from the human resources department, evaluating termination and other legal processes,
• Ensuring cooperation and communication with the law firms that the center receives consultancy from,
• Daily follow-up of the legislation and informing the relevant units about changes related to the Center's fields of activity,
• Conducting research activities related to business processes.
