Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Site Engineer to manage, supervise, and coordinate HVAC installation projects at various sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC systems, from design to installation, and be able to ensure all project goals are met on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Supervision:
    Oversee daily site operations, ensuring that all HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  2. Project Management:
    Monitor project progress and address any technical issues promptly. Coordinate with other engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that the HVAC systems installed meet the required specifications and industry standards. Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that all components are functioning correctly.
  4. Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
    Resolve any issues that arise during installation and maintenance. Perform troubleshooting on HVAC systems and provide solutions for operational issues.
  5. Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain detailed records of project timelines, progress reports, and technical documentation. Prepare and submit regular status reports to the project manager.
  6. Coordination:
    Liaise with other engineers, contractors, and vendors for procurement of materials and equipment. Ensure timely delivery of all HVAC equipment and supplies.
  7. Safety Compliance:
    Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and practices on-site. Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field. Certifications in HVAC systems are a plus.
  2. Experience:
    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC site engineering, including working with air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
  3. Technical Skills:
    In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, testing, and commissioning procedures. Familiarity with HVAC design software and tools is advantageous.
  4. Project Management Skills:
    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  5. Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
  6. Problem-Solving Ability:
    Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Capable of addressing site issues quickly and efficiently.
  7. Certifications (Preferred):
    Relevant certifications in HVAC design, maintenance, or safety standards (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE, etc.) are a plus.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  1. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS).
  2. Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC solutions and technologies.
  3. Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
