Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to elevate the organization's profile internationally and locally.
  2. Lead sponsorship relationships by identifying, cultivating, and managing key partnerships to support ISTANBUL'74's exhibitions, programs, and activations.
  3. Strategize and oversee sponsorship-driven collaborations, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and values.
  4. Lead PR efforts, including media relations, press releases, interviews, and partnerships with leading publications.
  5. Oversee content creation for digital channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with creative, events, and marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with brand goals.
  7. Act as the primary spokesperson, managing key narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Foster relationships with journalists, influencers, and opinion leaders in arts, fashion, and culture categories.
  9. Monitor media coverage and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, PR, Event Management preferably in arts, culture or luxury industries.
  2. Strong media contacts with the ability to build relationships with influencers and press.
  3. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling.
  4. Experience in leading and coordinating teams and managing multiple communication channels.
  5. Outstanding communication, negotiation, coordination & follow up skills in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Media & Advertising from a reputable University.
  7. Exceptional presentation and communication skills in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
  8. Passion for arts, culture, and creativity, with a global outlook.
