If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or consider choosing to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall's, Magnum, Ben & Jerry's. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE
Are you a technically savvy procurement specialist with a passion for sustainability and innovation? Then this role is tailored for you
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of ice-cream cabinets (freezers) procurement. This role is not just about purchasing; it's about developing & delivering sustainable practices, driving innovation and finding opportunities to bring value to the category.
FUNCTION SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
- Develop and implement agreed regional sourcing strategies in relation to the ice-cream category.
- Create and maintain a 3-year value chain detailing both regional and country specific projects.
- Provide product, service and supply chain expertise to the Ice-cream category members in the region.
- Build and enhance key internal stakeholder relationships in the region.
- Build and enhance regional and global supplier relationships.
- Project lead and execute sourcing initiatives at regional and global levels.
- Analyse regional and global industry trends to help protect continuity of supply.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's / Masters degree preferred but not essential.
- Related Work Experience: 5 years previous experience in Industry procurement.
- Other Work Experience: Direct experience in aspects relating to Ice-cream or Beverage industry activities.
- Technical experience in the Refrigeration Industry products is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Turkish.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Knowledge of information used to develop procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of procurement, industry and business best practices.
- Good knowledge of retail refrigeration equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of sources of competitive analysis.
- Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas.
- Ability to evaluate supplier performance.
