Our client is a leading chemical and mineral processing company and fertilizer manufacturer with 4 plants located in different regions of Turkey. We are looking for a Fertilizer Sales Executive who will work at the HQ of the company located in İstanbul.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, competent, highly motivated Sales Executive to lead sales operations in Turkey and export markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • The person will be responsible for achieving sales objectives in both domestic and export markets.
  • S/he will manage potassium sulfate (K2SO4) sales through all sales channels including dealers, distributors, wholesalers, and agricultural chemical traders.
  • The person will manage the performance of different sales channels in Turkey as well as export markets.
  • S/he will promote the product by effectively presenting to Agricultural Engineers, dealers, and wholesalers, demonstrating how the fertilizers contribute to high yield and product quality by providing plant nutrition for the soil.
  • The person will detail application methods, ensuring they do not cause blockages in modern irrigation systems.
  • S/he will define strategies and policies for positioning fertilizer products for different sales channels, including garden and fruit trees and field crops.
  • Fertilizer Sales Executive will have regular field visits in the domestic market.
  • S/he will regularly participate in international agricultural exhibitions.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from related departments of prominent universities; Agricultural Engineering or Chemical Engineering are most relevant.
  • Having an MBA degree will be a strong asset.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales of agricultural chemicals, classic fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, or Orgonmineral fertilizers.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Turkish.
  • Experience in dealer management, sales quota definition for dealers, and sales performance management in every channel.
  • Excellent dealer relations and understanding of agricultural economy drivers.
  • Strong market and competitor analyzing skills are required.
  • Highly organized with strong planning and control abilities.
  • Proven ability in teamwork and managing teams effectively.
  • Ability to use data analytics to monitor plant performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Have a valid driving license and actively drive for intercity travel.
