Who doesn't love growth? The Growth Team connects people to many categories online with the most innovative marketing strategies. The team also analyzes data to make great decisions in the competitive marketplace through relevant and timely communication with our customers and sellers to maximize their experience.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Empower the organisation to make data-driven decisions and optimising pricing strategies
  • Deliver insights and analysis across a spectrum of key areas such as price elasticity, discount optimisation, targeted coupon strategies and so on
  • Develop and maintain pricing intelligence, enabling data-driven decision-making by senior leaders
  • Develop an in-depth analytical understanding of what drives growth for the product and how it can be improved
  • Use metrics and analytics to measure the success of the data product and make improvements as needed
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the pricing tools meet the needs of the target customers
  • Analyze cost structures, profit margins and pricing models to optimize pricing strategies

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Operational Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or Quantitative background
  • Proven track record of a minimum of 2 years in a highly analytical role, ideally in an e-commerce environment
  • Firm understanding of data science and statistical methods (i.e. inferential inference, quasi-experiments, machine learning models)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets
  • Having strong business and communication skills, being comfortable analysing data to provide data-driven recommendations, and able to partner with stakeholders to help define key business KPIs
  • Solid programming skills in SQL as well as Python
  • R or Machine Learning basics are a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
