As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team, you will serve as the bridge between centralized Procurement and the building leadership. You will own the site's indirect procurement operation responsibilities at a site level, including vendor management of 3rd party service providers, purchase order management, and inventory management. You will lead supplier management KPI and metrics reporting, and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. You will provide procurement leadership and align with the building leadership team to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s).

Key job responsibilities
  1. Provide procurement operations support for the fulfillment center, including supplier management (goods and services), non-inventory labor, flow, and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transaction and expediting support.
  2. Support Procure-to-Pay execution and local sourcing activities as needed.
  3. Lead and develop a team of non-inventory associates to ensure the building has adequate resources and is set up for success.
  4. Develop deep knowledge of non-inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices.
  5. Ensure compliance with network KPIs and produce regular reporting to drive improvements for the Operations network.
  6. Provide insight when spend is exceeded and collaborate with centralized Procurement functions to add funds to POs.
  7. Drive compliance of site audits, supplier scorecard, and other centralized tracking mechanisms.
  8. Ensure site stakeholders are trained in Coupa and Payee Central tools.
  9. Be the autonomous point of contact for 3rd party vendor escalations on site for janitorial services, waste management, food and PPE vending, pallets management, pest control, snow removal, and landscaping among others.
  10. Manage relationships with all stakeholders including GMs/Site Leader, Snr Ops Managers, OMs, AMs, HRM, LPMs, WHS Manager, Learning Manager, and RME Managers etc.
  11. Ensure compliance with people management related KPIs of the non-inventory team.
  12. Manage and drive safety compliance for non-inventory teams during day-to-day activities and partner with regional/local safety teams for safety issues and escalations at the site level.
  13. Develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented.
  14. Using input from the category team, build the category metrics model to track and monitor performance in relation to the category strategy, such as supplier scorecard and other site audits on 3P services.
  15. Work in partnership both internally in a complex matrixed organization and with external suppliers to develop solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network.
  16. Support central Procurement functions in demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all non-merchandise items required for building operation. This includes corrugate, packing materials, labor, and janitorial services, etc.
  17. Partner with AP, Suppliers, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues.
  18. Work is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building. You should feel comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures as many buildings have dock doors that open throughout shifts. This position requires full-time on-site attendance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables) experience.
  2. 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  3. 3+ years of supply chain experience.
  4. 3+ years of supply chain operations experience.
  5. Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  6. Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience working in a warehouse environment.
