The ideal candidate will be experienced in a finance role with an understanding of finance operations and will have experience in relationship management. He/she will have problem-solving skills with a focus on improving processes and strengthening relationships with vendors. The candidate will have an action-driven approach and will be required to work proactively on issues related to vendor accounts while identifying areas of improvement. A European language speaker or multilingual is preferred.
- Working on complex vendor disputes and resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Meet or exceed applicable metrics of the process assigned.
- Work on underlying issues and fix root causes.
- Manage vendor disputes via inbound email and outbound calls.
- Maintain customer relationships by responding timely and accurately to both internal (company) and external (vendor) questions and requests for information.
- Efficiently manage disputes and issues through proactive coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Understand the pain points of vendors and resolve disputes.
- Provide prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to vendors.
- Escalate when appropriate to direct manager and/or senior leaders.
- Perform other projects and duties as required.
- Minimum of 2 years graduate certificate.
- Amicable to taking inbound and outbound calls and, if necessary, working overtime.
- Proficient in the German language.
- For non-native speakers, must hold relevant certification in the required language or have equivalent experience using the language in day-to-day communication.
- For native speakers, must go through an English assessment test during the interview process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Flexible to work in a shifting schedule.
- Exemplifies traits of being a team player, has good interpersonal skills, is hardworking, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision.
- Open to working with diverse teams with different cultures on a global scale.
- Preferably with a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting as a major subject.
- Prior experience of at least 2 years in a similar role in Finance & Accounting as an Analyst or in a BPO industry catering to customer needs.
- Preferably with accounts receivable or cash application experience.
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership for projects from day one.
- A drive for continuous learning and self-development.
- A self-motivated and driven individual.
- Fluency in other European languages is an advantage.
