JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  1. Lead E2E procurement operations and contracting for METSA markets, including Turkey, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Israel etc. Deliver sourcing strategy.
  2. Implement through contracting and negotiations for full Logistics portfolio including Transportation (Inbound and outbound) and Warehouse activities of chilled and ambient warehouses, support to IC distributors warehouse costs.
  3. Build strategic partnerships, establish and maintain key relationships with logistics providers to drive innovation and sustainability across the supply chain.
  4. Understand market conditions as well as forecasting future market trends.
  5. Plan and Execute Procurement Decisions of who to buy from, how to buy, when to buy.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to drive strategic initiatives.
  7. Work closely with Internal Operations team and External Supply Partners (3rd party logistics provider, warehouses) to drive key initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  1. Either a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years experience in Procurement / Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
  2. Relevant Experience in Procurement / operations of Transportation services.
  3. Proven price Negotiation & communications skills.
  4. Turkish & English Knowledge.

Experience Required:

  1. Buying, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting skills.
  2. Strategic sourcing knowledge.
  3. Supply market and FMCG knowledge.
  4. Experience on project, tender management.
  5. Financial analysis and reporting.
  6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
  7. SAP and Digital sourcing Platforms knowledge (advantage).
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities.

  1. Procurement Expertise: Proven procurement experience, preferably in the procurement and logistics sector, with a deep understanding of strategic sourcing, contracting strategies, and supplier partnerships.
  2. Business Acumen: Extensive international business experience, with a proactive approach to identifying and developing opportunities in METSA and global markets.
  3. Negotiation & Relationship Building: Strong negotiation skills and a talent for building and maintaining supplier relationships, with cultural sensitivity and a global perspective.
