About the role

Embark on a career where you can influence the financial success of Reckitt by becoming our next Finance Controller for a Large + Market. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of financial oversight, ensuring that our financial operations run seamlessly. Your expertise will not only contribute to the soundness of our accounts but also help drive the company forward through insightful analysis and strategic risk management. Your responsibilities

  1. Oversee operational finance functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes including RTR.
  2. Develop and improve sustainable and automated systems and processes for financial.
  3. Build enduring partnerships, cultivating strong relationships across the company and with external partners.
  4. Harmonize cross-GBU in-market process standardization and lead technological advancements for optimal operations.
  5. Endorse the integrity of statutory financial outcomes for the market and manage all local filings, queries, and third-party interactions.
  6. Prepare financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
  7. Manage relationships with global teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  8. Responsible for preparing the monthly financial statements and monthly data sets for management reporting purposes in a timely and accurate manner.
  9. Follow actions arising from financial control activities to improve the monthly closing processes.
  10. Deal with the financial audit processes, being responsible for the preparation of the IFRS and other financial statements and responsible for the information flow to the auditors.
  11. Provide accounting guidance to the businesses and other teams when necessary.
  12. Streamline accounting policies across the group companies.

The experience we're looking for

  1. Professional finance or accounting certification, backing your industry knowledge with formal qualifications.
  2. Bachelor's degree in management, finance, business administration or economics.
  3. Extensive knowledge of MS Office.
  4. Fluent in English - Written and Verbal.
  5. Extensive accounting knowledge in IFRS.
  6. Experienced in IFRS and TFRS reporting.
  7. 2-3+ years of work experience.
