The responsibilities of this position include meeting the business requirements of Garanti BBVA on Retail and SME Loans, Commercial Loans, Credit Risk and Assurance modules, Core Banking, Deposits, Loans, Treasury, Cash Management, Domestic and International Money Transfers, Central/Branch Operations and Foreign Trade, Compliance, Fraud Monitoring modules.

  • Preparation of detailed functional analysis documents for software development team by gathering, eliciting and analyzing business requirements and creation of necessary documentation with process flows.
  • Testing of software applications (preparing test scenarios, running integration, functional, regression, stress and performance tests), managing UAT tests and maintenance work on existing systems.
  • Maximizing quality of banking products and services by supporting continuous improvement of software.
  • The position also needs to monitor technological developments in the banking sector and produce new ideas to improve the products and services for increased customer satisfaction.

How do we describe the perfect match?

  • MS in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Engineering, MIS or a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external customer relationships.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines with excellent coordination skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in the banking sector, including related products/services and workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge about business processes, business rules, and requirement determination.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong change management and adaptation skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Familiar with Project Management methods, disciplines, and project lifecycle, preferably agile principles.
  • Experience in business and functional requirement analysis, process analysis and design, data analysis, DevSecOps procedures, and end-user workshops.
  • Ability to design interfaces to improve user experience.
  • Knowledge of database logics, ability to use query tools easily.
  • Knowledge about test processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with front-end and service test automation (Selenium, Karate Library, Postman, SoapUI, etc.).

  • Experience in data analysis and visualization (with proficiency in SQL, Qliksense and similar technologies & tools).
  • Knowledge and experience in data modeling.
  • Knowledge about low-code/no-code platforms.
