About the Role:
This exciting opportunity involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth within our gallery. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for art, and a strong understanding of various artistic styles.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Provide expert advice on artists, artworks, and exhibitions
- Assist clients in selecting artworks that meet their preferences and budget
- Educate clients about art techniques, styles, and trends
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stay informed about current art market trends and industry developments
- Drive sales growth and achieve ambitious sales targets
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in an art gallery or similar setting
- Passion for art and a strong understanding of different artistic styles and movements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in both Turkish and Business English at an advanced level, both spoken and written, is essential. Proficiency in any additional languages is a plus
- Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office suite, and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of Artlogic, Artnet, Artsy, Shopify, and Instagram databases
- Familiarity with social media marketing and promotion
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask
