The Marketplace Consultant role at Amazon is a dynamic position that requires a unique blend of business acumen, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. As a consultant, you will work closely with Selling Partners to develop and implement tailored strategies that drive business growth and program satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of 10-12 Selling Partners, developing individual strategies, managing timelines, expectations, and owning communications.
- Produce profound business recommendations and actionable insights by interpreting customer data using analytical tools.
- Leverage Amazon knowledge to consult Selling Partners on opportunities derived and potential business impact.
- Guide the execution of strategic plans, answering ad-hoc questions, and helping overcome operational and subject-specific challenges.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Work experience in level consulting, key account management, advertising sales, B2B, digital retail/e-commerce, business development, digital marketing, brand management, supply chain management or similar.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a similar program.
- Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
- Well-founded knowledge in strategy development and execution.
- Proven ability to successfully attract, manage, and interact with clients independently, particularly at the executive level.
Account management and paid services experience is preferred.
