Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Junior Security Operations Analyst to join our 24/7 Security Operations Centre. As a key member of the Managed Detection and Response team, you will be responsible for monitoring multiple networks for security incidents and anomalies, and performing initial triage and event management.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic to intermediate skills in SIEM operation (ideally with Splunk).
  • Critical thinking skills to question unknowns and find solutions when answers aren't easily found.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions through automation, technology, or process improvements.
  • Understanding of security controls (HIPS, NIPS, EDR, whitelisting, firewalls, proxies) and medium-level incident response skills.
